About Me

The ability to metamorphose ideas through a material process is an archeological quest into the lost and forgotten aspects of the self. Images are altered, often cut apart and reconfigured intuitively through a direct -hands on approach. Taking photographs informs the conceptual nature of my work. The studio component involves a direct and kinetic interaction with moving materials through repetitive configurations, mark making, and the quest to create order out of my chaotic love for movement. Years of classical ballet training prepared me for this time intensive journey from which nostalgic memories are created through a variety of media.
